About Us

North Tuition (formerly HG2utoring) are an experienced, Yorkshire-based tutor agency, offering private tuition for primary and secondary-aged children in a range of curriculum areas from EYFS to A-Level.

All tutors within the agency hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and provide 1:1 programmes, bespoke to the needs of each student. Sessions are tailored to focus on subject-specific curriculum areas whilst also developing confidence and strategies for independent, life-long learning. This personalised, one-to-one support allows for those all-important lightbulb moments.

Sessions can be delivered face-to-face in your home or remotely, dependent on individual preference and tutor availability.

Our Services

1:1 Private Tuition

Primary or Secondary programmes in a range of subjects, in-line with 2014 National Curriculum objectives and 2023 Early Years Statutory Framework.

Small Group Support

Small group sessions, focusing on Year 6 'hot topics' and exam techniques to help Y6 students prepare for their SATs in a fun and interactive way.

Entrance Exam Preparation

1:1 support from one of our specialised tutors, to help students as they prepare for independent school entrance examinations.

GCSE English Marking Service

As well as our 1:1 sessions, GCSE students can now access our new, research-led GCSE marking service.

Home Learning Programmes

English, maths or a combination of areas offered to support a Home Education programme. Face to face or online.

In-School Tutoring

Our tutor team are able to deliver in-school tutoring in English and/or maths, depending on school needs. 1:1 or small group sessions available.
