Mandy

Mandy is a qualified secondary teacher with experience of teaching mathematics up to A Level. She holds a degree in Mathematical Sciences and has a strong track record of helping students achieve their full potential through clear, tailored teaching and a calm, supportive approach.

Mandy has worked in a range of educational settings since 2008, including as Head of Maths in Spain and as an Assistant Head with responsibility for Boarding in a UK school. These roles have given her a wealth of experience in supporting international students and a deep understanding of the academic and emotional challenges they may face when studying in a different country.

Passionate about making maths accessible and engaging, Mandy is confident teaching all levels and abilities. She adapts her teaching style to suit each learner and believes that building confidence is just as important as building skills. Her students consistently comment on her ability to explain things clearly and make them feel at ease.

Mandy will be offering online sessions well as face-to-face tuition in the York area in secondary mathematics including A-level.
