Meet the Team / Our Secondary Team
Ella is a qualified teacher with a PGCE in Social Science and extensive experience teaching A Level Sociology and Psychology. She has 4 years experience as a Head of Sociology, where she led curriculum design, monitored student progress and drove strong academic outcomes across cohorts.
She has significant experience working with exam boards, including marking and writing exam questions, giving her a detailed understanding of assessment criteria and what examiners are looking for. This insight allows her to effectively prepare students for exams, helping them to develop high-level analytical skills and exam technique.
Ella’s tutoring approach is structured, supportive and tailored to individual needs. She combines strong subject expertise with a focus on building confidence, enabling students to achieve their full potential at A Level.
Ella will be offering lessons online and in the North Leeds area.
