With over 32 years of teaching experience, Julie has worked in numerous secondary schools in North Yorkshire and Lancashire. Currently working in a Harrogate school, Julie has begun tutoring French, German and Spanish and enjoys sharing her love of languages with students of any ability.

Specialising in teaching French and German from scratch to KS3, KS4 and A level, Julie is passionate about getting the very best from her students in an enjoyable and inspirational way; even making the demands of A level grammar an engaging experience! Julie has worked as an AQA examiner for GCSE languages, so is well versed with the demands of GCSE. Having been an A level languages teacher for well over 20 years, she is able to advise upon and suggest approaches that are proven to work when tackling the challenges of all three A level papers, including help with the IRP and writing literature essays in Paper 2. Julie also offers Spanish up to KS3.

When not tutoring, Julie is busy undertaking a TEFL course, something that she has always wanted to do since teaching English in France during her degree.
